Vidmar participates in the initiative for the construction of sanitary material
We can’t sit back and do nothing when facing this global emergency that affects us all, so our company joined the CV19_FAB_BCN 3D printing initiative to manufacture protective tools for our health sector, police, civil defense…
We participate in the “maker” initiative, which is in permanent contact with the Ministry of Health, with the aim of producing 3D printed materials for the health system.
The group, open to greater participation, has been integrated with more than one hundred volunteers, including students, teachers, amateurs and professionals from different companies, who have made their means and time available to collaborate altruistically.
The objective of this initiative is to help the health system with an effective supply of material that health professionals can use, although the possibility of allocating this equipment to other sectors, such as health professionals who carry out their work in areas of risk such as nursing homes.
In this case, VIDMAR has participated in the individual protection screens and visors, these have already been delivered to the Fundación Altaya hospital in Manresa.
