VERTICAL SILOS
Large capacity silos of vertical installation. Its geometry can be circular or orthogonal, and the material selected for it fabrication shall depends on the material to store.
It is possible to install vertical or even diverging funnel flow cones at the bottom of the silos. Those accessories are specially design for any type of large loads. For that purpose, VIDMAR is able to offer the most suitable solution that your company requires.
Applications
- Storage of granulated or powdered materials like row materials as part of a process or as part of a finished product.
- Storage of sticky materials with high percentage of humidity
- Storage of abrasive materials like clinker in the cement industry or crushed glass in the glass industry.
HORIZONTAL SILOS
Storage silos installed horizontally, it is suitable for medium capacity requirements.
They are equipped with mechanic extraction system, underneath the silo. This extraction system, also known as “walking floor” is powered by a hydraulic group. The extraction system can have a variable speed drive, depending of the use.

- Storage in case of low height availability
- Storage of sticky materials with high percentage of humidity
- Storage of materials commonly used for alternative fuels like, USW urban solid waste, WDF waste derived fuels, CAS Biomass, tires, etc.
