Chip dosing plant
Vidmar has just completed a chip dosing installation in a chipboard factory in Galicia, Spain; supplying our HG model belt dosing unit, with a special length adapted to the customer’s needs.
The complete system consists of a hopper of approx. 10m³, which is loaded by means of a front loader. The chips are stored in this hopper to be extracted by endless screws and dosed by our HG doser, to later feed the chipboard manufacturing process.
The plant control system sends the flow setpoint required by the production line to our control system, which is responsible for carrying out the dosage correctly.
From this moment, the client perfectly controls the dosage of chips to the production process, obtaining considerable yields and precision.
